The 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Development & Innovation (ICSDI 2026) will be held on 16–17 November 2026 at The Art Hotel, Kingdom of Bahrain, in a hybrid format. Organized by Gulf University, Kingdom of Bahrain, ICSDI 2026 brings together researchers, academics, policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, practitioners, and postgraduate researchers to explore how innovation, technology, policy, and interdisciplinary collaboration can accelerate sustainable development.
Under the theme “Advancing Sustainability Through Innovation, Research & Global Collaboration,” the conference provides an international platform for presenting original research, exchanging evidence-based knowledge, showcasing innovative practices, and developing collaborative responses to complex sustainability challenges.
ICSDI 2026 is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and adopts an interdisciplinary approach that recognizes the interconnected nature of environmental, economic, technological, and social dimensions of sustainable development. Rather than treating sustainability as a collection of isolated challenges, the conference encourages research that examines the relationships between technology, people, organizations, institutions, economies, and the environment.
The conference particularly welcomes research that moves beyond identifying sustainability challenges toward developing innovative, scalable, measurable, and actionable solutions. Contributions are encouraged from established scholars, emerging researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, government institutions, civil society organizations, and postgraduate students.
ICSDI 2026 will feature keynote addresses, research paper presentations, thematic sessions, expert panels, interactive discussions, innovation-oriented sessions, and networking opportunities, creating a platform for meaningful dialogue between academia, industry, government, and society.
